Keyanna Humes is a speech-language pathologist who received her training at Kent State University where she obtained a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Her interest in the field began through helping a friend who is deaf with their speech sound pronunciations. Her love for the finer details of speech and language coupled with her love for working one-on-one with people made this career a perfect fit!
Keyanna is passionate about the field. She has experience working with people across the lifespan but has a special place in her heart for children. Some of her interests include Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), gestalt language processing, and play-based therapy. Some of Keyanna’s hobbies include painting, drawing, and finding new places to explore! Fun fact: Keyanna is fluent in sign language and has been an interpreter at her church for about 6 years!
