What Our Families Say About Us!

My son first met Krysta when she did his initial evaluation and they instantly clicked. Being a parent with a child with a learning disability you're always concerned if the therapists will be too "doctor" ish or a by-the-book therapist. Krysta is none of them. She made it her goal to know his mannerisms and personality before catering a program to meet his needs. Since starting therapy with Krysta, the improvements in speech and language development is astounding. We review each session and I'm provided with up-to-date reports. We discuss which areas need to be strengthened and how best to do them at home. Being able to be in constant contact with Krysta is a blessing. If some circumstance comes up and we have to reschedule we are able to do so quickly and efficiently without missing a session. My son had taken such a likening to Krysta that he asks for her even when it's not a session day. Without Krysta, I do not know where we would be as a family. She is more than just a therapist. She is an integral part of our family.
Mardi Day
It was the middle of the pandemic and our 2 year old had become less interactive. As concerned parents, unsure of what was happening, we took him for a speech and language assessment which concluded that he had some challenges with expressive and receptive language. We immediately started sessions with Krysta twice a week to address his concerns. My son showed an instant response and continued to get better each week. After one year of therapy, he is now in school functioning superbly and impressing his teachers with how well he communicates, uses logic, and understands concepts. He has been student of the week most weeks of the school year so far and we could not be more proud. We are thankful that we shared this journey with Krysta. She has been professional, a source of encouragement and provided excellent skill with our son. She was also one to give good feedback. It is obvious that she is passionate about her career and this translated to our whole family.

We started speech therapy with Ms. Krysta in March 2021. From day 1 my husband and I felt comfortable with her. She listened attentively to our concerns, thoroughly answered all our questions, and gave us the reassurance we needed as we began our speech therapy journey. When we started I was most concerned for my daughter and how she would react in sessions. But surprisingly, she and Krysta formed a bond very early and rarely made any fuss to go into sessions alone. She works miracles with little people and keeps my daughter engaged every time!!! We are involved with her in weekly sessions and she gives us homework assignments too!! She gives us honest feedback on when she sees we are working hard and when she feels we need to work harder. Now six months later, we can see some improvements in our little one's ability to communicate. She's beginning to formulate sounds to which she has never done before. She has met some of the goals Ms. Krysta has made for her and together we will continue to working hard on others. I am thankful that we found Krysta at the time that we did. I honestly don't believe we could have found a better SLP, she's awesome!

Our son started working with Krysta at the age of 3 due to a speech and language delay. From the beginning, my son has enjoyed sessions with Krysta and was excited for each week. The level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism is what created the ultimate environment for continued growth and development. Krysta targets goals in various ways which are fun and motivating to not only our son but also to us. Providing us with tips on how to elicit certain aspects of language to practice at home from inception. After every session, Krysta took to the time to explain what was covered in the session as well as how we were tracking towards our pre-determined goals. Krysta is truly a caring professional with excellent communication skills, simply a gem in the field that has made a significant impact on our life through the exceptional work she has done with our son. Our son’s speech and language development has improved tremendously through the weekly sessions. I would highly recommend Krysta for your speech and language needs.

For the past three years my daughter who is diagnosed with ASD and a Language disorder has received consistent speech therapy sessions with Krysta. Krysta has a genuine passion for what she does, which is evident in the way that she is able to connect so well with my daughter during her sessions. She structures her sessions in a way that is fun and effective. Krysta is very patient and is able to foster a productive therapy session even on my daughter's more challenging days. Krysta provides thorough feedback on the progress of the goals established. She and I have open communication, and I feel like we are progressing on my daughter's speech journey collectively. My daughter has grown more confident and articulate, which I attribute to her sessions with Krysta.

Our son started speech therapy at the age of two with "Ms. Krysta". From day one Krysta welcomed him with open arms and calmed our nerves. Her kind demeanor and encouraging words made therapy fun for him. Each week he enjoyed going to therapy and each week we saw improvements in his speech. Krysta is very thorough with providing updates, giving additional assignments when necessary and also giving us tips on how to further help him at home. After almost 3 years our son's speech therapy journey is coming to an end, he is now speaking confidently. We are so proud of him as he has now entered kindergarten and is doing well in school. We thank you Krysta for all your hard work and dedication in helping him progress and walking us through this challenging journey.

From the very first day that I met Ms. Krysta, I knew that I had found the right person to help my son. She accepted him just for who he was, without judgement, making him feel comfortable and safe as she worked with him. She has patiently and lovingly pushed my son to be a better version of himself by helping to improve his speech and language. He is now able to express himself in ways that he couldn’t do so before. His self-esteem has improved tremendously because of this. I, too, have learned so much from the strategies that she shares with me for helping my son. The partnership that she has encouraged between us has helped him to make so much progress. I thank God for Ms. Krysta, this angel, whom God has placed in my son’s life!

2 years ago my 7 year old son was frustrated with school. He was having a hard time grasping math concepts and would express how much he wanted to understand like the other kids in his class. As a parent, I was at a loss as to how to help him. On the recommendation from his school, he was evaluated and we discovered that he had a processing delay. He is now 9 and has been seeing Krysta for therapy since spring 2020. The strides he has made in that time have been tremendous. I still marvel at how far he has come. He has been given tools in therapy that I wasn’t equipped to give him at home. Altogether with the work done in therapy, reinforcing the same at home and the support from school, he is now a straight A student who loves learning!

Working with Krysta was a fantastic experience. She truly cares about the child and does all that she can to engage them. My son was comfortable and happy during his sessions and best of all we heard him speak! Before working with Krysta we feared he would not develop his language. He is still developing this skill but he has improved by leaps and bounds.

A parent can never be ready for dealing with an autistic or speech delayed child. The emotions that you will encounter is another challenge all in itself. However having a great team of professionals to help you and your child navigate through these unfamiliar situations is truly a blessing. This is what we found with Paediatric Communication Solutions, Mrs. Krysta and her team and truly angels sent to help us with our little darling. At the beginning of this journey I never thought our child would be able to communicate with me or us. Now when I hear her making request, laughing and enjoying her childhood, I am the happiest mommy ever. My family and I are forever grateful to PCS for all that you do and continue to do for us. You footprint will forever be etched in our hearts.

My son has been doing speech therapy with Krysta from 2021 when I received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder at his age of 2 years old. He was evaluated to have a severe speech delay and was recommended speech therapy three times per week. When my son started speech therapy at the age of 2 he only had five words, which meant that he was not achieving the milestones for speech and language for his age. The speech therapy services that Krysta continues to provide for my son has been imperative for his overall language development. My son is now 4 years old and his speech has improved tremendously from where he was initially. He can now speak in complete sentences, has major progressions in interactive conversation, and he can effectively communicate his likes and dislikes. His communication skills has improved so much that his therapy sessions have been reduced from 3 times per week to now once per week currently. I do not know where my son’s speech would be right now if I had not received the services Krysta continues to provide for him.

A hearing impairment is extremely challenging for anyone, more so for a child that is just learning to use language to communicate and express themselves, which was the case for our son Anthony who required the use of hearing aids. Ensuring that your child can effectively communicate and understand at a level with kids at their age becomes the #1 priority, so we began to look for speech therapists who would help provide him with the foundation for effective communication. After a brief stint with another therapist, where I noticed that Anthony was not at all engaged with the therapist, thus not remembering much from the sessions, we were recommended Krysta. In a very short period the results spoke for themself. Anthony would use new vocabulary in his sentences and attempt (although sometimes poorly) to string together longer sentences. Krysta would also provide regular updates on progress made and weaknesses that needed to be improved upon. Also her office does and extremely wonderful job of notifying beforehand any changes to scheduling and are flexible as possible when it comes to rescheduling appointments it required. In a field as delicate as pediatric communication, I can say Pediatric Communication Solutions sets the standard.

Our son has been working with Krysta for the past two and a half years. His speech wasn’t clear and he was shy. She has worked really hard with him by giving him tools to aid his speech and that helped with his confidence. She is also very patient and he loves their sessions together. Ms. Krysta has been a joy to work with for our son and also for us a parents.

Jasper started with Ms Krysta in October 2022 to work on some speech and language issues that we noticed he was having. We were both nervous about what was going to happen but she was very calm, and welcoming which we both loved. We have seen great improvements not only in Jasper’s speech but his language skills have begun to blossom as well. For anyone who’s child may be having challenges with speech and language development I would most definitely recommend Ms Krysta.

My son has been with Pediatric Communication Solutions from March 2023. My son is normally shy around strangers, and he puts himself in a corner. On our first day, he was really excited because the atmosphere was so welcoming. Everything a child would like is right in front of them. Everyone at Pediatric Communication Solutions greets everyone the same, and I love how the office administrator greets each child by name 😊. My son loves his speech therapists and she is doing an amazing job. Before speech therapy, my son had a few word's and now he can not stop talking, and he can now better express himself. I love what Pediatric Communication Solutions has done in such a small time frame. I would recommend them to anyone. Continue loving our babies the way you do. ❤️
