Alicia-Marie Thompson is a speech and language pathology assistant who combines her her passion for language, communication and science with her experience growing up with a little sister who has special needs. Alicia-Marie completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at The University of Western Kentucky. She is proud to maintain a 4.0 GPA, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her fields.
Alicia-Marie has administered individualized treatment, under the supervision of speech and language therapists, with clients ranging from ages 1 to 20 with needs such as speech, language, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and more. With a strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Alicia-Marie is particularly passionate about supporting non-verbal clients, helping them find their voice and express themselves. Outside of her professional endeavors, she loves family, sports, music, travel, constantly seeking new experiences and inspiration.
