Krysta is a certified and licensed paediatric speech-language therapist with extensive experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders in young children. She holds her Clinical Competency Certification (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a certified member of the United Kingdom Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (MRCSLT) the United Kingdom Health and Care Professions Council (MHCPC), and the Bahamas Health Professions Council. She also serves on the board of the Caribbean Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
With nearly a decade of experience in paediatric speech and language therapy across Trinidad & Tobago, London (UK), and the Bahamas, Krystaβs journey led her to the beautiful islands of the Bahamas, where she founded Paediatric Communication Solutions in 2021. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy to support children and families across the region.
Krysta has a special passion for early intervention (birth to 36 months) and specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of speech and language delays and disorders. She is committed to making therapy an engaging and positive experience for children while equipping caregivers with the tools they need to support their childβs communication development. Her approach blends play-based learning with structured techniques to ensure meaningful progress in a fun and supportive environment.
Outside of her professional work, Krysta enjoys spending time outdoors, watching documentaries, reading and shopping. A huge animal lover, she also enjoys training and caring for her two dogs.
